The seafood larder, kept cold.
A short, carefully edited list of frozen fish, shellfish and cephalopods for people who cook.
Edited, not endless
Frozen at landing
Australia-wide cold chain
Small-batch packing
Four shelves, each with a clear job in the kitchen.
We would rather stock ten things we can stand behind than a hundred we cannot. Every line is chosen for how it cooks, how it freezes and how it keeps, then checked again when the next landing arrives.
Editorial note
Most seafood aisles are long and shallow. Ours is short and deliberate: shellfish for a table, cephalopods for a pan, crab and crustaceans for a weekend, and a pantry shelf for the rest.
Nothing is listed until it has been cooked plainly in our own kitchen and judged on texture, sweetness and yield.
Orders wait in the freezer, not in a box on a dock. Packing happens on the morning of dispatch.
If a cheaper cut does the job for your dish, we say so. Ask us before you order.
